Common RV Slideout Problems We Fix

Slideouts are one of the most mechanically complex systems on your RV. Here are the most common issues we diagnose and repair:

Slideout won't move at all: Could be a blown fuse, failed motor, broken gear, hydraulic fluid leak, seized mechanism, or an electrical fault. We diagnose the exact cause and can manually retract stuck slideouts to get you road-ready.

Partial extension or retraction: Usually caused by a weak motor, worn gears, misaligned rails, or a failing controller. We measure motor current draw under load to determine if the motor is struggling or if the mechanism is binding.

Slideout Seal Replacement

Our labor rate is $150/hour. A one-time $75 service call fee applies on your first visit only — that includes a full slideout diagnostic. From there, we provide an upfront estimate for any repairs, seal replacements, or upgrades needed.
