    RV Roof & Exterior Wash

    RV Roof & Exterior Wash

Protect your investment and keep your RV looking sharp with professional exterior cleaning from Clean Slate.

Your RV's exterior takes a beating from sun, rain, road grime, tree sap, bird droppings, and oxidation. Regular professional washing isn't just about looks — it's about protecting your investment and preventing long-term damage to paint, decals, and roofing materials.

At Clean Slate RV Repair, we offer thorough roof and exterior wash services using RV-safe products that won't damage rubber roofs, fiberglass, or aluminum siding. Our roof cleaning removes black streaks, mold, mildew, and debris buildup that can degrade roofing material over time.

We also inspect your roof during every wash for potential issues — cracks, lifted sealant, soft spots, or antenna/vent damage — catching problems early before they become expensive leaks. It's cleaning plus peace of mind. Upgrades? UV-reflective coating so your roof stays cooler than ever.

What's Included in Our Roof & Exterior Wash

Our wash service is thorough and methodical — not a quick rinse with a garden hose. Here's what you get:

Full roof wash: We clean the entire roof surface, removing black streaks, mold, mildew, oxidation, tree sap, and environmental contamination using professional-grade, RV-safe cleaning products.

Sidewall and exterior cleaning: All fiberglass, aluminum, or painted surfaces are washed and rinsed using controlled low-pressure methods that are effective without damaging seals, decals, or trim.

Awning cleaning: We clean fabric and vinyl awnings to remove mold, mildew, and staining that accumulates during storage.

Visual roof inspection: Every wash includes a hands-on inspection of sealant, seams, vents, antennas, and A/C gaskets. We'll alert you to any issues we find so you can address them before they cause leaks.

    Why Regular Roof Cleaning Matters

Your RV roof is constantly exposed to UV radiation, rain, tree sap, bird droppings, and environmental pollutants. Over time, these contaminants break down the roofing material — whether it's EPDM rubber, TPO, or fiberglass.

Black streaks aren't just ugly — they're caused by organic growth and oxidation that degrades the roof membrane. Left unchecked, this buildup shortens the lifespan of your roof and can void manufacturer warranties.

Regular cleaning removes these contaminants before they cause permanent damage, extends the life of your roof by years, and keeps your RV looking sharp at the campground.

    UV-Reflective Coating & Protection

Want to go beyond cleaning? We offer UV-reflective roof coatings that protect your roof from sun damage and actually lower interior temperatures by reflecting heat away from the surface.

These coatings create an additional barrier against UV degradation, extend the time between resealing, and can reduce your A/C workload on hot summer days. It's one of the smartest upgrades you can make for roof longevity.

    Our Cleaning Products & Methods

We use professional-grade, RV-specific cleaning products that are formulated for rubber roofs, fiberglass, and aluminum siding. They're effective against black streaks, oxidation, and environmental contaminants without harming your RV's finish.

We never use high-pressure washing on RV roofs or seams — it can force water under sealant, damage rubber membranes, and destroy decals. Our controlled low-pressure approach gets the job done safely and thoroughly.
